Meijer is latest major retail listing as US expansion continues
1st September 2022: Green Beverages Group, the fast-growing innovator of premium and better-for-you beverage brands, is pleased to announce that Green Cola North America LLC has continued its strong recent momentum across the US and secured a listing in Meijer, a major mid-west retailer. This is the latest in a flurry of recent listings across North America, including Market Basket, HEB, Stop & Shop, Hannaford and United Natural Foods.
Since launching in 2019, local operator Green Cola North America has driven a significant national expansion programme, having initially secured a listing in Whole Foods Market in the North East before expanding its footprint across the US. Green Cola is now available in more than 28 US states across 1,500 stores, and the Meijer listing represents a considerable milestone, with products listed in 260 stores across the mid-west.
Green Cola North America has also seen significant success on Amazon, where the number of sales is growing exponentially/rapidly each month. Green Cola is now among the top twenty bestselling soft drinks on the platform and has been recognised as a “High Growth potential business” by Amazon. The Green Cola products are also available via Walmart.com adding to the company’s growing ecommerce business.
